Dont you have to buy and sell a certain number of cars per month to qualify for trade insurance?

Also most places want you to be over 25..

Trade insurance would be well good if anybody could get it, id get it and buy an Evo as I can easily afford the car just cant get insured..

i cant remember who the company was btu i was able to get quotes for a trade policy and im not a trader. just explained im a trainee mechanic so it would come in handy.
due to being 23 and having a ban the best i could get was £1500 up to 1.8 and £2500 with no restrictions (i also asked if i could drive evos, imprezas and skylines which i could)
decided against it for now as i could get a normal policy for £600

Also what happens about your current NCB and do you still build them up?

TBH if I was earning a bit more id pay £2500 and buy an Evo 6

im not sure about ncd, i told them what i had from private policies and they accepted that.
yeah it was cheaper than a policy on an impreza would be, but £2500 is like a third of my annual wage lol

No, mechanics need insurance too

Edit, I think it only covers cars you don't own too, otherwise everyone would do it!
