Whats the deal with these? are they worth more in golf season or something?

its not the 1st time ive been given one with my change but this one has a message written on it in pen by someone saying ' Golf is about life. We love you B.B'. whatever that means.

i also seen an ad on gumtree for one of these, which was for £145 i think. ill just iron this one out.

Scottish notes aren't technically legal tender in england and wales, it's just generally accepted that they are.

Likewise that Welsh money isn't technically legal tender in England. And likewise in Scotland. They don't HAVE to accept it. I just don't see why they be fucking twats about it. I was ready for flashbanging a shop that said "We do not accept cheques, £50 notes, Scottish and Welsh money".
