I wouldn't mind a chilli plant actually, had some tomato plants last summer.
I'm thinking of buying some more varients of fly trap too.

Tried seeds last year, was too late though, got a plant this year so I'll see how it goes.

You are a bit late starting them. They can take about a month for them to germinate. I started mine back in February.

I've had a chili plant last year or so, last week I noticed it is covered in little white flies. Don't know what they are but they must be pretty hardcore to be munching on my chilies

Spray it with a mild solution of washing up liquid/water!

Brother tried growing a range of chillies a year back but green fly kept getting at them so he jacked it in in the end. Be interesting to see how they turn out though
[fact]I've snorted a capful of scotch bonnet chilli sauce, it wasn't the smartest of ideas [/fact]

I'm growing a lemon tree from normal lemmon seeds.....from a lemon
Only 1 seed germinated out of 4 odd and took 2 months to start to poke out of the soil, in 6 years its going to have babies

I once took a large bite of a scotch bonnet chilli. Never again, it was the hottest thing ever. Even my nose was on fire!

i'm also thinking of growing mushrooms, shittake and giant mourels (sp)
can get kits now and mourels are worth a fortune.
also seen truffle trees, i reckon if i could plant a dozen now somewhere, in about 7-10yrs time i'd have a nice income from them
