Asking this as i am looking at having a daily car and a weekend toy, just wondering if there is anyone doing the same or similar?
Just wanting to know how much difference the price is to insure two cars on the same policy over a single car policy. I know it's going to be different for everyone (age and no claims etc) but i just wanted to know roughly.

It'll cost roughly what the car would cost to insure on it's own.
Only some companies will let you use no claims on both so could cost even more.

you will struggle to find an insurance company that will cover a weekend toy and a daily driver on 1 policy unless both cars are insured as std vehicles.

Not sure how this works but:
My Corsa to renew with Admiral costs £1500 all mods declared 15000miles a year at 20 with 2ncb.
My Land rover 3000miles a year with 0ncb costs £1100.
But if I do multi car with admiral my Corsa is £800 and Land rover is £600. All mods declared, same mileage e.t.c.
Insurance is weird.

I've got 3 vehicles insured at the moment..
There are loads of specialist insurers that will mirror your no-claims.
