hi i have just finished painting my smooth fuel flap,and now ive mounted it on the car i dont wont to damage it by opening it with a key.if i installed a popper it would be alot easier and i could wire it to my rear wiper as my car has been de-wiperd.thanks alot ant b

I had mine smoothed for 4/5 years; never had to use a tool other than my finger tips to open it and never had any damage

i know but ive got stubby sasauge fingers lol,and i dont wont to damage it with my key

I imagine you would need to do some body work cutting to put a solenoid behind the flap and run wires there. don't know if there is an easier way?

Dan and I once tried cutting the metal round the fuel filler inside, impossible

leave the tab there in the first place, the hassle its going to be to fit a popper i would rather just put a key behind the rubber to open it if you can get in with you fingers, cant see how you cant get in with your fingers tho, i have big fat fingers and can still do it
