in petrol station just before. stopped to get some rizzlas. on way back to car they asked do i think its fast and went on to tell me about his cousins mates best mate of a mate that has the fastest impreza in town and how it beats everything from tesco's lights.

tbh, i just wanted to get some rizzlas and go home

yea its always teh way...someone has always got something quicker.

Its knowing quietly that they havent got a clue...

One of the lads on the Accord forums had a group of chavs walk past his car and one of the girls said "oh look theres an ATR", and one of the lads replied with "no they never made one, its just a Halfords sticker!" People's ignorance is amusing sometimes.

The Impreza might be faster I would just of agreed with them and driven out of the forecourt in a deliberately retarded fashion, maybe even stall it. Let them believe what they like. To be honest IMO the fun of having a fast hatchback is people thinking it's slow and then beating them, so the more people that think they are faster the better!

I know its not quite the same but a lad at the college I go to has got a 1.2 clio and once overtook me while I was sat doing 70 in my 1.6 corsa sport, then he tells everyone that his car is faster than mine.
He soon shut up when he realised my frontera on 32" mud tyres was on his back bumper up to just over a 100mph.
When I asked him about it next day he was just blabbering.
