Apart from the throttle its a lever that you push with your thumb underneath the hand grip, but that might of been because it werent road legal and was only a cheap one, not sure if there all like this

raptor my mate has is a 6 speed manual with a twist grip throttle, exactly like a bike to ride till you get to a corner, I shit my self when I got to a bend, so weird having to physicaly turn a set of handle bars rather than just lean them
fucking stupidly quick too, his has some different ECU or something

on proper road legal qauds that arnt chinas finest there mostly twist grip throttles and manual gears with a clutch like on a proper bike, unless you get into the big raptors and such then your only looking at about 60 flat out with a decent amount of tourqe out of the 170 and 250 rams that tbh are the most popular ones out there, you drive them on a car license and can carry a passenger also with no helmet.there good fun but can be dangerous on the roads, have to lean away from the bike to go round corners at high speed like literaaly hang of it, my cousins boyfriend had a 750 fuel injected raptor, thats was undoubtedly the scariest shit ive ever seen lol so fast

Most have thumb throttles because when cornering you are pulling on the bars unlike a bike.

You would have to be a tit to ride one on public roads without a helmet imo. There not the best things to go around corners.
Everytime i drive past one i always feel like im in Grand theft auto. They just out of place on the road.
Type of people that ride them probably have a knukle duster, knife and a basball bat just like in the game too

The absolute imbecility of the riders is astounding.
I see some idiots driving them topless.

The arches do come over the wheels.
