Mine is just a bag of w**k

the past month or two it has cost me just under 1k and now i need to spend yet more on it what makes it worse is i hate the frigging thing but cant afford to change due to a) being massively underpaid in my job (i laugh but im 60% under the area average) and b) i have had to raid my savings to pay for the recent repairs on the sodding car plus i bought a new camera (a week before i was told my car needed so much work on it).

Recent Bills
- Mot + Service
- A week later was the major bill for aload of suspension bits + vac pipe + other odds and sods (which never got picked up/mentioned on the mot
and the latest.....
- 2 new tyres fitted last night, which after driving today and noticing the steering wheel now wobbled turns out that one of the wheels that has had a new tyre fitted is majically buckled which they claims i never noticed it with the old tyre on because the old tyre was shaped into the buckle so it never showed up (how true that is i dont know)

so now i have to pay to get them refurbed/straightened up (again if thats possible i dont know)

all in all someone come and frigging steal it and burn it out for me (joke )

so yeah im not happy atm [/paul j styled rant]

I take it they balanced the wheels? If not I'd be making them check it again as his story doesn't sound convincing.

easiest way to check if its balanced is to drive slowly and see if the steering moves slightly roughly everytime the wheel goes round

they were balanced/checked 3 times by 2 different garages and when i went back to the original place what ever machine it is they use the one the claim is buckled the machine had 20 onthe left screen and 110 on the right screen (not that i have a clue what that means but didnt look goot (once they took the weights off it but as it went round you could see it wasnt perfectly straight but i dont really know)

also bieran havent seen you online for ages.

Fuck sake matt. Could you not just get rid and pick up a £200 shitter with Tax and MOT to save a bit of cash for a few months. You don't do many miles and if you could run it into the ground till august time you may have saved enough for something more like what you want ?

you'll be suprised how many miles i do considering work is only 8mile round trip if that i have still manged to do nearly 12k since july last year.

Would love to buy something to run into the ground but this is silly cheap to run once its all working and not breaking on me.

Thats crap, well, hopefully after you have repaired it all you can run this for a year or so and save up for something new. Obviously hope it doesn't die in the meantime.

Rear Shock was leaking, Front ARB cracked, pretty much all the bushes were perished/non excistant, new pads + discs, Split vac pipe came a healthy £800 odd as it was done at the stealers.

probably had a few other things too but cant remember lol.

Kurt, tbh there must have been something wrong as since i he put the spare on the problem was fixed and since putting all my old wheels back on its been fine so im assuming they were right.

dave couldnt go back to another corsa.
