as seen here:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-Technic-8275-Motorized-Bulldozer/dp/B000MZHT0C
i bought this a while back after seeing the James May toy story series, also got loads of airfix models which i shoved in the cupboard.
Have built it up recently and here are some pics, all very impressive i'm sure you'll agree. Its massive!!
i think Jr and Willay should get into lego as a more manageable build project

What as in manageable, you means "finish off"
Or even

I've still got mine... and the 8865
I actually converted the 8880 to right hand drive when I was about 12
My 5 yr old nephew got hold of it recently and broke it I think there may be a couple of parts inside the dog as a result

look on the lego store, you can buy every single piece of lego on its own, like a few pence a piece. I had to get 1 yellow bit for the bulldozer

Man, lego was so cool as a kid.
I started with the fire station and police headquarter sets then gradually moved on to technics when I got older.
Also had one of the electric train sets which was the best
That crane looks awesome though - I so want one
