I've just spaffed. I've seen numerous carbon parts that appear to have been made from pre-preg carbon and autoclave cured and an inlet plenum that looks like it's been machined from a solid billet.

I need to get out more.

If you supply me with a glossy painted part then I ought to be able to use it as a plug for a mould. I believe we've got some carbon that's 'out of date' but can still be used for cosmetics. The only problem is that as we don't have an autoclave you'll end up with pinholes in the part unless you want a glossy gel coat on it...

If there is enough demand for a part then there's no reason why stuff can't be arranged. Small one offs aren't much of a problem, it's just when you get into the big stuff the cost of the materials and the time and effort required makes things difficult. Small parts can also be made from off-cuts
