My mrs was after a Ford Ka n I saw the following car for sale on autotrader and as the number looked like a mobile number I assumed it was gonna be free to call(included in my minutes);
http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/cars/FORD+KA/Ne-2-4-5-6-7-8-27-44-49-53-61-64-67-103-133-146-236,N-9-13-41-240-4294966391-4294967050/advert.action?R=201014356549887&distance=37&postcode=de21&channel=CARS&make=FORD&model=KA&min_pr=1000&max_pr=2000&max_mileage=60000&vehicleYearOfManufacture=2003&vehicleRegLetter=03
Turns out that 070 numbers are numbers that autotrader give out to people selling their cars so buyers dont actually get the sellers real number. I just happened to check my bill the next day to find it cost me £4.50 to call, 50p a minute!
Annoying, I spent another £8 on a hpi check which revealed the car has been written off, not once but twice. Luckily I did the HPi check before traveling 47 miles to see it.

What do you expect, it's an 070 number and you called if from your mobile...
0845 numbers are now classed as a local call but not from mobiles. 0844 numbers can work out quite expensive too.
Autotrader are quite cleaver here though by routing the call.

Like most people i'm not a phone number anorak, on the face of it that looked like a mobile number.
Granted there is a "Telesafe" logo nearby but to me that meant nothing plus there's adverts all over the page, none of which I take any notice of.

the fact it says telesafe should've made you realise, but as they say, live and learn.
