we recently have had a light on the astra which brought up P0116 which is the coolant temp sensor wiring voltage low or something like that.
so we got a new sensor and replaced that and it made no difference, we have taken the light off with scangaugeii, obd reader and op-com and it still came back.
so we ordered another sensor just in case the previous sensor was faulty, the new one got delivered and it made no difference.
took the codes off again and they came back on..
not sure if its related but, we had the speedo die, which changing the hub sorted.
we just read the faultcode now the hub has been changed and there isnt a code to read. :S
if you try erase the light it flashes off then comes straight back on.
any ideas?
we have tried to trace back the wires of the sensor but they get lost in the loom and short of cutting back all the wrapping it looks fine.
