I m having a problem with my corsa 1.2 8v engine. I already tried changing the spark plugs with new ones but with no success. the problem is that the when I accelarate in lower revs when idling( before 1 on the rev counter), or accelerate in 1st and 2nd gear again in lower revs, the cars knocks and has some hesitation. while on higher revs the engine works very fine. any suggestion ?

Could be the knock sensor itself, if this is the case then you should renew it a.s.a.p Go to
http://www.topbuzz.co.uk/ click on maintain then electric. It shows you how to test the knock sensor, unlikely I know, but well worth the look.
