Nano is the best all rounder. Touch is basically an iPhone but doesnt make calls.

nano i guess is better as its smaller etc....
what sorta prices am i looking at??
best place to buy etc

£110ish for 8GB I think. My Dad is lookng for a Nano and I think he said Argos were reasonable at the moment.

what's your budget?
If you're after sound quality then iPods are very average, you're better off with a Cowon (S9 or D2) or Sony X1060. Head over to Head-fi.org forums and have a look on there, loads of info about portable players, headphone amps etc.
If you're after an iPod then Nano or Classic would be my choices, the iTouch seems a little expensive for what it is and an iPhone is a similar price.

It can depend how much memory you need tbh, for me the Nanos are too small as I have 30GB+ of music
Although if you only want to put a selection of music on it and a Nano is big enough, then get one of those.
If I were looking to get one right now then I would get a Classic.

I have a nano and iPod touch! Just get iPhone! Or if you do just an iPod then go for nano there easier to use in the car to!
