Do you find that when you go on your own, you come back more tired than you do normally?

By that I mean when theres 2-3 of you, you have a rest between each set. When I'm on my own I don't rest as much between sets, mainly because I can't stand people who sit on equipment at the gym doing nothing!

I've just been on my own and done back and shoulders, and its hurting now a lot more than usual!

Or is this forum full of the people who sit around on their phones and staring in to space!

I usually go with 2 other mates and I find that I am more tired. When I am by myself I do a few sets and go for a swim but with my mates they seem to motivate me more. When my mate is on one machine I am on other and everyone is doing something, all the equipment is really close together.

Yeah same Marc. usually go with a mate but hes been unavailable recently so been going on my own. I find i push myself harder too and spend less time in between rests and because i get round quicker i usually do a few extra things too. For instance i've started to do sit ups which was never normally in my routine.

best decision i made was to train on my own. There was always too much waffling when i was training with someone

I always used to go on my own with the i-pod stuck in. You can do what you want, when you want, for the amount of time you want. No one else to really bother you as well.

I like to go on my own. The people that go in groups always seem to just mince around as if the place is a fashion show.

I normally Mix it up. Usually go by myself but makes a nice change when buddying up.

Do always end up more tired from going on lonesome, but when with a buddy seem to be able to do higher weights with more ease- probably due to the rest inbetween sets.

A while ago I trained with a mate , was good and kept us both motivated.

Then I went to training on my own due to my shifts.

Started to train with another mate but he talks a glass eye to sleep and felt the need to say now then to everyone and ask if there "out" this weekend pure small talk shit.

Back to my own and I like it but dont push myself as much.

Prefer going myself but having a spot is useful when moving up weights!
