General excercise, go out for walks and eat sensibly.

Excercise such as sit ups, jackhammers, leg stands and press ups will help tone your stomach, arm and side twists will do to.

This is a very good idea, I use the Wii-Fit for about an hour a day and it doesn't help you do anything better, but does add motivation and makes some things quite fun, snowball fights and stuff.

Doing sit-ups will do nothing to reduce belly flab though, the fat doesn't magically disappear. You need to do cardio stuff, running, swimming etc.

situps etc won't remove the fat, jsut tone the muscle.

If you want to get rid of fatty bits, walks, runs, swimming, those are you easiest and best bets.

And lay off the curries......

burn more calories than you consume - how you burn those calories doesnt matter.

Lifting weights is just as effective as running or biking....you dont need to do hours of cardio to get the results. Sit ups are not actually that good for you and not that effective either.

You cant spot reduce on one part of your body- all you can do is lower overall body fat.

You cant tone a muscle. You can build muscles by working them whilst in calory surpluss, or you can lose fat by training in calory deficit. You cant lose fat and build muscle(except as an absolute beginner)

I REALLY need to lose some weight....but I just can't do it.
I love eating too much, and cannot diet.

I'm not bad at exercising, just need to do it a bit more I think.

You should get the Davina work out DVD Jade....I borrowed it from a friend and it's really good. I'm just not very good at motivating myself to exercise at home

I'm much the same when it comes to food

I've got plenty of spare time on my hands when Colin's away, but find it hard to motivate myself when I'm on my own I need someone to share my pain

I'll give the DVD a try

Jade and Fee you are both of PERT and far from in danger of being HEFFERS

Like has been said just eat sensibly. Also small, regular meals rather then infrequent pigouts will help to keep your metabolism fired up so that you are burning calories at rest. skipping breakfast, pigeon eating throughout the day then having a big meal at night is the most common mistake made by british people imo.
