i fitted an amp for the 6x9 today and it sounds shit i yhink i have lost power from my main amp that powers the sub and the 6x9 are so destorted what have i done???????

um, fackuked it. if the 6x9's are distorted at low volume then there is something wrong with the amp. How can u think u have lost power from ur sub? Its either on or off!

if u can, turn down the gain on ur amp for the 6x9s!!! how have u wired it all???

When you amplify 6x9's and you have a sub in yuor boot then the fight against each other for air capacity. The 6x9's distort and the subs goes quieter.
Take off the amp, problem solved.

you proberly need to go for a bigger power wire,amps are struggling to cope on small cable.
