Spent a few $$$$$$ on the scooby over the last week or so Tyres needed changing, pads were pissing me off as they only worked best when cained so changed them for Ferrodo DS2500'sand put in some Bendix synthetic fluid.

Also the lad who owned the car before me tried to retrim it in blue alcantara and made a right hash of it a mate of mine off Scoobynet does 'Flocking' in his spare time and for the price i paid it was a proper bargain basically he gets a diff. interior then i went down and we swapped the whole thing over for the pre flocked stuff. Was quite easy but had to be mega carefull...as i found out today redoing my gauges when i have scraped some off easily fixed though.

Enjoy

205/40/17 on a 1500kg Impreza, I'd say there going to be massively too thin.

Dash looks nice

Width or profile?

My M3 was heavier than that running 30 profiels.

Width not profile, 205/40/17 is the standard size ? are you sure ? That's alot of weight over a very thin tyre.

Pretty sure standard size is 225/45/17 but may be wrong, put it this way, suzuki Swift Sports come with 205/40/17 so a AWD close to 1500KG i would of thought comes with wider rubber. May be wrong though..

Yeah, Wierd though as the curb weight will be very close to that of an STi so you'd think they'd want to retain a decent contact patch.

Silly question but whats the fuel consumption like if driven semi sensibly?? What sorta mileage can you get out of a full tank?

Sorry mate i meant the newage STI's as opposed to the standard WRX's STI'd have the diff. PCD and offset so use the 225 as standard.
