Broke my engine mounts yesterday when out for a country lane drive, the engine is sitting at a funny angle and the bottom on the manifold / exhaust is ALMOST on the floor
The car was making a horrific noise, like a was dragging a large piece of metal on the floor, but nothing was under the car, do i assume this is a driveshaft??
My main questions is how much are new engine mounts etc, is it a reasonably easy job? and is this likely to have buggered other things hard!?
CHEERS

(Ooo its just standard GSi mounts that i'm after btw)

try autovaux. Depends which mount has gone as to how easy it is really. Gear box ones are easier. Need jack or crane to support and lift engine etc.
