Had a letter round saying they were resurfacing our roads. Great i thought they had become a bit broken up. They come and did it yesterday and this was the result
Seriously is that an acceptable resurfacing of a road? they have literally chucked a bit of bitumen down then dumped a load of gravel over the top. The result is, you cannot do any more then 10mph due to stone chip damage to the car, in places it 1inch+ thick loose gravel and is very slippy, heard several cars skid on it coming round this corner.
Aside from all of this do they really expect such a surface to last?
Is this an acceptable way to resurface a road? or is this another reason why i didnt vote Labour?

they will leave it a week or so untill cars have driven over it and compacted it all down, then they come and hoover up all the loose chippings and go from there.
Its not that good but its not as bad as it looks or feals now. Its all they do around here. Also be carefull on it as its like marbels!

They resurface now and you get water pooling the next day, complete waste of time.

Nick Griffin would have been out there on his own with a spade and a metal bin with a fire resurfacing that road
