]Striked a deal tonight, collecting tomorrow morning

He accepted on £3150 but needs brakes and cambelt soon.


65,100 miles, Clio 172 Sport Cup ( Lightweight version). 2.0 Litre 16V. K-Tec Racing Stainless Exhaust. Officially 2 previous owners before me however the 1st owner was the garage. 3 Door Hatchback, Blue, Petrol, Manual, Passenger airbag, Remote central locking, Alarm, Alloy wheels, Drivers airbag, Heated door mirrors. Service History (missing 1 stamp). Cambelt has not been changed. 2 keys. Tax - May '10, MOT - November '10. No Canvassers! Telford, Shropshire. £3,500.


Any additional things to look out for except belts being done?

Good price?

Yes deano i called up alot of sellers and had a cash waiting need to collect asap approach. some people appreciate genuine buyers

im adamant i can get it cheaper. parkers say 3700 good. id say it was a good price but not a bargain

looks realy nice, i dont like the exhausts showing on these tho, brother has one with ktec exhaust on also but you cant c it like a standard car , make back look tidier i think!

I like the loom of the 182 exhaust, but would it be wrong doing it to a cup?

yea 182 exhaust are ok but i just like the stelthness of one you cant c, keeps back end nice and clean and tidy!

Seems alright, not cheap but not expensive either. Shame you are so far away I could put you in touch with my mate to do the cambelt. We did one on my mates in 9 hours including taking the engine out.

Good little cars, I loved the blast I had in his!

Every aftermarket exhaust I ever heard on a 172 sounded awful! They are great in standard form anyhow.

I think the Ktec Stealth exhaust sounds good. Sounds normal when driving sensibly then got a nice rumble to it when booting it!

Some are cheaper.

Yeah but they look nice, go well, tick a lot of boxes for me.

They should depreciate like they do.

If anything a decent 106 GTi holds its money better than a Clio 172.
