i just cant get to grips with the matt finish on it though, i think all the other colours look stunning esp the white, it looks ten times worse

Isnt it £36k & only 40odd of them coming to the UK??
I'd have a normal issue one over that for £26k & keep the change!! Not keen on the matt black either, although the red seats are nice!!

The matt black is proberly from when they tested it, as they did that when the tested the last RS, and all the manufacturers seem to be doing a matt black finish on all there test cars nowadays.

True. It is panther black underneath the wrap so you could rip it all off and be left with a lovely looking car.

They are fucking amazing handling cars and take well to tuning,no wheelspin even with extra bhp...
My mate got the JS400 map lastweek and with other mods its 383 bhp right at the front wheels

i dont know how it does not wheel spin? i got 240bhp at front wheels and the spin is stupid? 383bhp would be a right handful i would have thought?

There were 101 allocated to the UK and bizarrely enough the ones in the UK would not have the reds seats! I like the look of it but I also like buftying and matt black would be really annoying to have!!! It was announced on April 1st that they were releasing it so a few people missed out ordering one a the thought it was an April fools joke! There's a nice write up about it in this months Rallye News (RSOC) so will see if the scanner at work is working tomorrow and scan it in. And there's new announced after the rs500 selling out that Mountune are doing a performance upgrade kit for £1995 to bring power up to 350ps/460nm torque on standard mk2 rs's.

Rather have a normal one in white and buy the Mountune kit. I'm sure a standard one is fast enough though.
