I think for a stage 2 VX your looking at something in the region of.. (over standard)

£280 - Uprated Radiator
£300 - Large Chargecooler
£488 - Exhaust Manifold
£837 - 200cell cat + 2.5" Exhaust
£240 - Cams
£3200 - Supercharger + Manifold + other bits

the new injectors are turbo ones and it runs the standard ECU but mapped by courtenay sport.

Knowing very little about cars (so maybe a stupid question), why can't you put, say, a VXR 2.0 turbo in? That'd be 240bhp right there.

Wrong shape/won't fit/designed for FWD presumably?

Or buy one with the turbo already in it.

boot is a different shape so id need a turbo rear clam (new clam, repaint etc etc)
220bhp then need to spend X getting it to 260
its a turbo so lag (albeit not much)

the engine itself probably costs a couple grand, and the supercharger is just dfferent.

so the car has cost you 23k so far then????

s/c vx220 will be far smoother and nicer to handle on the bends! turbo ones seem faster but thst just cos the power comes in with more of a bang! on track s/c one will be faster!
