I've done a few,
Gallardo was a hoot, so quick and amazing power
F340 made me want one
Elise was just nuts, was taken out in it afterwards and the guy driving knew the car so well, was mind blowing
R8 was kinda Boring
Vanquish was Incredible though !
Done a few boring ones too i.e. Cooper S, Impreza, Puma etc

One thing I can say for all is that the instructors have been sound, most will be fine with you pushing it quite hard and if you show signs of struggling they will let you know breaking markers etc

Enjoy it

Prepare to be dissapointed unless you enjoy just the fact you are 'in the car' because they will only let you pootle about like a granny.

Thats bull tbf, I hit the limiter in the 355 I drove. Also got told to 'push it' when driving the Elise.

Disappointed is a bit strong a word. They won't let you rag the arse off the car and take it to the limits through corner, but its still going to be a much more exciting experience that your own car

I went on a 4x4 experience, it was shit, they were scared of damaging the cars! FFS.. if you go off-roading you are SUPPOSED to damage something lol!

I've been on a Impreza 'Rally' experience, I've done more rallying in tesco's car park!

And I've been to various 'experiences' with other people (Ferrari, Lambo) and it looked toss.

Suppose there's more at stake in rallying as its fairly dangerous. On a track with gravel traps not much can go wrong.

Offroad/rallying are different though. On track its easy for anyone to go quick down the straights and slow down for the corner whilst being told to do so.

Much more difficult for an instructor to tell someone how to powerslide or do a hill descent

Well I'm guessing its a present as things like this usually are and I'm guessing not everyone is going to drive a lambo in their life.

True which is why I said "Prepare to be dissapointed unless you enjoy just the fact you are 'in the car' because they will only let you pootle about like a granny"..

If thats the case I do think you'd get value for money renting one for a weekend and using its fanny magnet abilities
