Not quite replicators lol.

Could be good, but no doubt will fall into the wrong hands and take biological warfare to a whole new level.

Not truely synthetic as they just copied another cell into another cell, they didn't actually construct a new cell from scratch.
Still though in 50 years time...who knows the possibilities.
