Depends on the animal tbh. If its a rabbit or something that isnt a pet then id just put it out of its misery whereas if it was a pet like a cat/dog id stop and either take it to the vets or contact the owner.

I remember seeing something on the news a few years back, a guy hit a cat so reversed over it to finish it quickly and was charged with animal cruelty by the rspca.
Personally i'd feel guilty but keep going

I remember seeing an episode of crimewatch where a guy ran over a cat on someones driveway.
the cat was ok, but this badger reversed over it to try and finish it off.
it was still alive!
i think he ended up going over it about 30 times before it was killed.
