Basically... they sound like Nova's
a loud PPPPPPPAAAAAARRRRRRR sound... not really beefy.... just a noise.
Really tinny and crackly in cold... worse than alot of my mates zorst in cold start ups.
Silly size on the bb4
label is rank.... bit like fox
I'll think of more when im at work and add later. I actually made a long list once.

I was looking at the Powermaster. Basically its £100 for a stainless backbox. The Sebring alternative is £150 and same with Magnex. Powerflow quoted me £170 and the Rage version needs a fitting kit and some pipe work, which I ain't capable of to be honest.

go for anything but peco.... waste of money... its worth the extra 30-40 quid for a decent make exhaust with promising results

If you are on a budget go for an Ashley exhaust. I have no complaints about mine after 2 years and it was only £100 fitted. Its still at the budget end of the market but the sound is soo much better.

theres nothing rong wiv Pecos. the only thing rong wiv them was wen the nova lads put them on, yes they sounded shit, still do,
if u go for the stainless systems they r really gud.
Peco bb4 etc. r budget exhausts. every1 knows it,
remember u get wot u pay for. so if u want summat nice save and get summat alittle better quality,
but if u ave the peco boxer systems like i sed be4 they r great

nothing wrong with em- the one I had lasted two years with no problems- doesnt sound tinny at all- has quite a deep burble that sounds good when your giving it some stick, but is fairly quiet when at low speeds- Id recomend them as a cheap option- I also dont think there any where near as bad as RicheyGTI is making out, and out of all the peco exhausts the bb4 probably has the best exhaust note

I thought it was the other way round, they do some high end systems for racing cars all over the world but the budget stuff is what it is - Budget. You get what ya pay for. I still had no complaints about my ash bb.

Fact is though... there is still doubt.... if we posted this about magnex or scorpion would the results be the same?
It really is worth paying that extra more for something decent on your car.... its like fox alloys... pay that little bit extra for some more respected alloy wheels

I was going to get a BB4 or POwermaster for my first zorst, then I heard my friends corsa with the BB4 fitted and that made my mind up. It sounded crap IMO and hung very low.

Yeah true-you do get what you pay for, but at the end of the day if you can't afford a custom made system at the moment-you can either:
*save up for it (because at the end of the day it's what really want as you've had it made specially for you) OR
*opt for the second rate choice and get your Peco
I had a Peco as my first ever exhaust on my corsa and it was ok sound/performance/looks wise, but I'm glad (saw the light ) erm I mean decided to save up for something that would actually compliment my car more.

i had a peco big bore 4 on my nova gte...i got it 2nd hand (about 3months old) had it for about 2 years...no rust etc...sounded sweet i thought (and so did my m8s)
if u really r on a budget then try the bb4 out...i know most ppl slate them...but from my experience it was very good, did me proud
after all the mildsteel big bore 4 has a 2 year garentee!!!and will u have the car after 2 years?
my m8 has a staineless steel peco twin square on his 1.4 pug 306...i think it sounds shit!
but i do think the bb4 sounds alright! if u take the sticker off it and fit it right...then no one wil know the better...they will think its sumic better from the sound!
go for it m8!
