Never seen a car doing 140mph have we
These new bloody bikers means there is absolutly no way to tell if its a copper. At least with cars they are in uniform still.
Never ever try to race someone on the road. Only ride with people you know. Thats the safest way.
And yes, I regulary see 140mph. Its really not hard to get to
Fruit your just jealouse because your car can't do 140mph or get anywhere near it

I know thats because I dont have a car atm
But when I do get it, it will be more than capable of 150 (And no its not a VXR ) and I wouldnt even bother with those speeds either, its just stupid.

Mine does 0-100mph in about 6-7 seconds, which isn't really that fast for a superbike.
geting to 140mph...
Sitting at 80mph in 3rd, open throttle, let revs rise in 3rd, 4th and throttle and over 140mph, and roll off.
Literally takes a few seconds.

been faster on a bike tbh .. bikers own the road and are the better riders/drivers on the road where as car drivers who dont own bikes dont look for them hence cars pulling out on me nearly everytime im on a bike .. mainly women tho.

And you can get runover crossing the road.
If you live your life by "what ifs" as I do with many things, it means you miss out on a lot of good things in life.
Bloody doo gooders, lets all live our lifes the way some toffs tell you.
Doing high speeds on an open motorway is totally safe. Doing 50mph through a town center is FAR more dangerous.
Step off the plate.
As for you matt, you drive a bright orange fiat diesel. Says it all

yeah but your branding all bikers with the same brush.
Right, you drive a modified car. That MUST mean your a boyracing chav, who spends all night spinning on McDonalds trays, littering, hooning around in a 1.2 corsa with baked bean can exhaust, with gay neon lights, stickers, and a fetish for NOS and Paul Walker.......
Are you? Probably not.
Same way you shouldn't tarnish all bikers with the same brush.
Also, your saying undertaking? Do you mean filtering or undertaking? Filtering between cars is LEGAL. If a bike undertakes you and no cars are around, why are you in the outside lane????? Doing high speeds in certain areas is stupid I agree. But there is a road near me thats 50mph, 2 lane dual carrageway, not a housing estate OR building around for 4 miles, but its a 50mph? No-one ever does 50mph, so are all the car drivers the same??
One old lady to pull across, if your doing 100mph for starters, before the women could even think about moving, your already passed. As a biker, you can see whats happening before the car driver even thinks. Simple things, drifting accross lanes, viewing their eyes off their mirrors etc. Until your a biker or ridden one properly, its basing an opinion with no relevent experience.
Anyone can pull out at anytime on you.
Some people don't care, ride like tits. Some of us ride quite fast, but appropriate to the conditions. I.E if your coming upto a cross roads, you dont go past flat out do you. You roll off and be ready to apply brakes. Common sense stuff. If that car pulls out on you, doesn't matter if your on a bike or in a car does it.
NO-ONE I know rides like this, if anything, im the worst in my group of friends, but then I also have by far the most experience, which on a bike is everything.
Stop branding.
Matt, I ALWAYS say thanks, even to those people who violently swearve out the way for no reason whatsoever. But they have noticed im there, and that alone is worth the tiny effort of raising a few fingers in thanks.
I ride fast, but a conservative and respectfull fast. Unless your sat in the outside lane where you will receive my anger wrath.

this is exactly what gets my goat with bikers
as a well trained motorist you can anticipate, not JUST as a biker, most bikers think the moment they slip that helmet over their heads that they have some sort of super power and priority over other road users

I havent tarred any bikers with any brush, i was simply referring to your comment of getting to 140mph only takes seconds

No i dont drive a modified car. I drive a vectra sri 1.8

The driver being in the wrong lane doesnt give you the right to make an illegal manoveour

Apparantly according to your statement

My opinion is based on my driving experience, although not on a bike I feel I am still able to differentiate between safe and stupid wether bike or car

Never did say it made a difference wether car or bike, a car doing the same manouvers at that speed would be equally silly

The biggest difference between a biker and a non-biker is the shoulder check.
I shoulder check in my car. So many car drivers don't do this! It should be part of the test, imo.

Just think though, if one of those cars checked their mirrors to change lane when that bike was undertaking at 60 meters per second and turned the biker into paste it would all be the car drivers fault in the eyes of most bikers.

I made the mistake of not doing this when I first passed and nearly clipped another car. Since then I probably do it too much. Better to be safe.
