There is a house local to me which has not been lived in for years.
It kind of interests me and i'd love to know if it's available to buy. Is there anywhere online that I can search the owners or details of the property?

Google it? Would have thought it would have came up with a name or phone number for the address. Either that or try an estate agents. They should be able to tell you who owns it after a bit of digging

I'm trying to do the same, i now know his name.

Neighbours seem to think he lives in London.

Land registry will only be able to tell you if its been registered. A lot of properties which haven't been bought/sold in the last 20 years still won't have any details held about them.
Worth a shot though.

you could also search to see if any planning applications have been made in the past

Cheers chaps.
I paid the £4 and got the registery report.
I glanced over it but need to read more into it.
From my quick glance it seems the owner of number 14, 16, 18, 19, 20, 21A, 22 and 24 lives at 21 on the same street
May be worth giving the guy at 21 a knock and ask buy looks of it.
There's no price stated and the report says the Proprietor gained the titles in 1976.

What is the address on the title - 14 to 21 xxx Street or something like that?
More than likely they're all rented out so if you knock you'll just meet a tenant. I guess they'll be able to give you contact details of the owner or agent.

Well the owner of all the properties live next door to the house I am interested in.
He lives at 21 and we fancy 21A, This house is run down and not been lived in for years. Apparently my mum said it was on one of those house hunting porgrams a few years back. i can't for the life of me find it.
