Before PPC in the park @ mallory, I went out in the wet seeing where my toyo t1r's would grip, pretty well I found. But last night when it was wet, they were awful, as if the rubber has hardened!

Would some slight track abuse cause this?

Different road surface? Or would that not make a difference.

depends if and how they are worn due to the abuse. Surface does matter as well slightly. I dont get the hype about t1r tried them on a few cars and found them pretty poor.

Look how hot it has been lately. Might just be extreme heat to cold due to the rain?

So you think it may be down to the fairly big drop im temp since the weekend they have hardened more than usual?

Nic- from my experience of them I think they are pretty good, loads of grip in the dry

I'd say its more all the crap laid down on the road surface over the last couple of weeks of decent weather more than anything else.

Me too. Also grip well in the wet, and are voted better then Parada Spec 2's by a fair few.

T1-R's are SHIT in the wet

They are quite a hard tyre anyway, certainly compared to the Paradas I have now
