What average mpg have you been getting out of your Civic type r's?

28 round town, 30 - 34 on the motorway, although mine isn't standard.

I get that in mine mate!

My mate said that when his was mapped and he took it steady he actually got better mpg than standard! Although that said when he ragged it, it was sub 20's easily.

I usually get around 60 miles to £10 and on average about 270miles to a tank.

I get 330miles to a full tank on mine.
Mixed driving with at least 250 of those a week on the motorway.

Oh and mine is standard apart from a k&n panel filter and Buddy Club Spec 4

Depends how you drive them...

I've got an Accord Type-R and doing about 20 or so miles a day, £40 can last me either a week or a couple of days.

Then again, the i-vtec system uses less fuel than my engine's version...

used to get between 200 and 250 miles for 40 litres in mine

FN2 type r i get 29 round town usually 34 on the mway
