Spent a few hours this afternoon shopping around for a good price. Hastings direct gave me a decent quote then i told the chap i had had a bump in my car when it was in a supermarket car park and i wasnt even on the car, he went and asked his manager and even though i didn't claim off my insurers they bumped it up over another £100!! Dont see how they can do this, i wasn't even in the car so was hardly at fault. Thieving bastards anyone else having problems with insurers ?

Why would you mention a bump that wasn't declared Do you also declare going over the speed limit without being caught?

ive made a claim from another guys insurance. completely his fault and i didnt use my own insurer so i dont declare it.
