The guy who built my dads MG built about 3 mk1 gtis from the shell up to concourse standard. He sold each for well over 6k and that was 4 years ago

gets me how alot of VW cars are extremely overpriced, but people pay them. whereas other makes ecspecially vaux it aint.

Its like a mint MK2 Golf gti would be 3times the price of a mint MK2 Astra GTE.

It winds me up, theres some scruffy looking younglad round here who thinks he's the bomb because he has a mk2 golf driver (not even a proper golf!) that has gti rims (the shit ones) with clear/red lights and its ever so slightly lowered and the thing is covered in shit. I mean its browny/grey due to lack of cleanliness.... but its ok though becuase he has a VW and thus is

i don't like the car itself and i do think it's overpriced - although i'm guessing it would be insured for around the 10k mark given the work carried out on it (if it's as good as it says it is), it does have shite wheels on it however.

this one comes with scene tax.

Waste of a good shell.

10.5 k for a mk1 with a cut up engine bay, no thanks.

100% standard one in mint condition would be worth it in my opinion.
