Where can I find out about how long a shop can be open Mon ~ Sat?

I found this, but surely there are laws where you can only have it open 9-5 or equvalent?

I'd imagine www.direct.gov.uk will have the answer.

It all goes on sq/ft'age I think - hence why little convenience stores can open most Public Holidays where as big supermarkets have to close something like 2 in the year.

Over 3000 sq ft and it has to close at certain times, under that (like where I work) its what ever they want/can staff.

Can't find anytinng on there Deano, only stuff from an employee's point of view?

I'm not sure what square foot it is, it's not large.
