Germany, usual build up for them, best players out injured, everyone saying they are a spent force.

They will win it. Spain can be beaten, USA done it and USA will beat us first game.

Spain. They have incredible strength in depth, the best strikeforce and midfield in the tournament.

Argentina won't come close with that crack addict in charge, great team, shite manager.

Have you been reading my rants JJ? I've put money on Germany. I can see a few upsets this year. Italy will be there or thereabouts, as usual.

Somebody no one expects, possibly Germany. Spain on paper are frightening as is Argentina's strike force but I dont think either will win it. Not a lot of talk about the Dutch or the Ivory Coast especially with it being in Africa.

No Drogba now, so that's a big big no for Cote D'Ivore.

Holland wouldn't be a bad outside bet.

Personally can't see past Spain, but they rarely go to who you think.

I got Brazil in the sweepstake at work, so either Us or them I hope!

I was going to be putting money on Ivory Coast today then Drogba got injured so that idea has been aborted

On paper, spains squad would be my guess but anything can happen, a bit like Greece in the Euros.

But, I think I'm going to go for Germany and if they don't England

Obi Mikel is now out of the WC as well. Chelsea will win the league next season based soley on the fact the entire team will be fresh for the start of the season!
