Good swap, nice cars, not the quickest standard though.

This is one of those cars that seems to get a thread every week now.

Suggest doing a search, will bring up some good stuff.

I used to own one but cant be bothered to repost all the info for like the 10th time this year

I drove one for the first time last week and was pleasantly suprised, I can see why people love them when they have more power.

they all only came with the k03 as standard, even cupra rs, theyre a tiny turbo that will max out at about 200bhp,

there is peopke who have upgraded to a k03s (available on late mk4 golfs and annis) which is a direct replacement and then 240 bhp is achievable with supporting mods

you then have the option of going k04 (leon cupra / s3 turbo) but loads of other things need swapping, or you can have the standard k03 fitted with the k04 internals as a hybrid..... its expensive but would wield circa 290 bhp

other than that you have proper turbos and the sky is the limit.... join seatcupra.net

it all depends what your after to be honest, id try and get one already done but i will never buy a heavily modified car again so got a standard. im going k03s as 240bhp is very quick in a small car and more than enough for me

i built a Ko3s Hybrid... best of both worlds in my eyes, still a quick spooling turbo but has a bit of top end in it aswell. With everything though you will get bored and want more... same happened to me i was going gt30.

The only outlay is getting the turbo done. ( i used my ko3) the injectors, maf and intake. everything else you will be buying would be the same for a ko3s equipped car.

Seatcupra net is crap compared to what it used to be, all the main knowledgeble people got banned, cos the admins are more bothered about their pockets than whats best for the members.

Ibizaoc.com is upcoming, we are only in our 2nd year but have over 20 cars for gti inters stand!

yes they send a courier out to pick up your turbo, then they hybrid it and send it back.
