I find change link to be the best near me. They are in london though so may be a bit far for you?

Tesco was the best for me getting euros a couple of weeks ago
Thompson was a close second

I don't mean to hijack the thread but does anyone know if i would be better off getting money exchanged before I go Dublin next week or would it make no difference if i just got cash out whilst i'm there

Depends on the exchange rate your bank give you on the day mate. I was in southern ireland recently and when I withdrew money I didn't get the best rate plus got charged for making a withdrawel while in another country.
As for Turkey, my reccomendation is to change money up out there. The Turks love the pound and you get a much better rate on the high streets out there.

That is by far the best but out of the others posted in here it is travelex and closely followed by Tesco!

they're good
there is another place on the same street which usually matches them If i go out at lunch i will see if they are a larger company and post up if they are.

TheMoneyShop offered me the best rate, they'll even match any rate that elsewhere is offering - and you get up to 4 weeks to change the currency back at the same rate you purchased them at.

Thats why i was going to see if the other one was a larger company and had other outlets
Doing deals would involve sending money in the post which is risky! otherwise I'd open up a middleman service
