Idea's for new car please

Corsa's going this week, so will be on the hunt for a new car.

Must be:
2001/2002 onwards.
Preferbly small hot hatch
70k or less, give or take a few k
Running costs doesnt matter too much, only live 3 miles from work.

Insurance is the main problem. I paid it off in full last November, so have just over 6 months left, so any car i get, will more than likely have to put towards on insurance. Been quoted an extra £415 for a Clio 172

Been looking at

Clio 172 (dont want a Cup)
Ibiza Cupra

Any others???

Budget of around £3500-£4000

Fabia vRS (might just find one for £4k with 70k)

Looked at a few GTi 180's, but not really keen on them, a mate of mine had one and said it was boring, same with a Focus ST 170. Although i do like the Fabia's

Looking at a 05 Clio 182 with 43k, Cat D, for me to repair, finishes on thursday, so might have a cheeky bid on it.
