Does anyone know of any reputable places that can supply rebuilt 13b engines? Its for a guy at work who has an RX8 and the engine is fucked - next to no compression etc etc and he's after and engine. Mazda direct quoted just over £3k which i thought was ok, but he wants to see if there are any other options.

Cheers guys!

Renesis engines are different to the 13B REWs and REs in the RX7s, which he should bear in mind.

But yeah, as Kurt says, WGT will be able to handle anything rotary-related.

Many mixed reviews, they have a lot of experience but 19 of the 24 reviews on FDUK are saying to avoid them.

When I was in Coventry recently, someone left their card on my windscreen, so I had a drive down to see what they setup was like... wasn't impressed.

WGT always get my money.

£3k for a brand spanking engine is damn good really, if you can do the fitting/labour for him then he's onto a winner as that's the biggest cost involved in engine work on these cars.
