Atm I have a HSBC student bank account with a overdraft around grand, I have had a HSBC bank account which is interest free and I have had it around 7 years and I went into my overdraft once by 72p, although recently I am short on some funds and I think I may need to go into my overdraft for around 3 weeks will this affect my credit rating?

If anything it will make your credit rating better for using it, as long as you pay if off again that is.

Its generally accepted that most people go into their ODs at somepoint during the month. As long as you dont go over it and pay it back before they come for you, you will be fine

That's because you get a 3 year period after you graduate.

Normally with a Grad account and even bigger overdraft etc.
Not that it matters, I never use it.
