Do you find that people give you stick for driving a corsa? even when its subtle? i get it all the time from random people as soon as they see the alloys its 'Its just a corsa' 'Why didnt you just buy a new car'.

There are alot of amateurs out there in my opinion

What do you think?

I often get people telling me I should just buy a new car (I've got Nova's not Corsa's) get used to it as everyone has different tastes and some people don't like cars the way we do.

Then when they get their new, with elec windows mirrors aircon etc, you can just say well I've got that too (if your car has it or you've fitted it) then blast past them leaving them choking on your over fueling shed of a car.

Do you know what amateur means

Amateur at what exactly? Amatuer at liking corsas? Amateur at liking modified cars?

Corsa's are what they are, and people tend to see it that way. They are cheap run arounds. They will never be a prestige, valueable or cherished by the majority of people.

couldnt give a fuck, i mod my car for myself ( if you haven't guessed by now ) Most people only like the expsensive cars and never understand that modification work can be respected no matter what car it is on.

cant do half as much stuff to a new car, for instance, 6 motnths ago, i wouldn't of had a clue how to take apart a corsa, now i could do it with my eyes closed, i can guarentee people who buy new cars do little more than put a sub, 6x9's, some shitty alloys and an exhaust on. also, if i crash, only £300 down the drain, not £10000

my view is, if you are driving a car you can afford to drive and havent got some flashy expensive car on finance as a status symbol, then who cares.

I get called an old man for owning my Mazda. Somebody will have some form of input no matter what you drive. I prefer to think of it as jealousy.
