Post your run times and car spec and what you think could have been better/changed.

I was expecting 18 secs.

I ran:
17.8 vs astra vxr
17.6 vs holden lute thing
17.2 vs 2.0 astra mk3 (i think)
17.3 vs 2.0 turbo nova

Spec:
x16xe
powerbox inlet
4-2-1 exhaust manifold
decat
pipercross panel filter
full interior

It ran well later in the rev range through 3rd and 4th but had a massive lack of power in 1st and 2nd in the low rev range. Reaction times were good, tyres gripped well for normal road tyres and gear changes were brilliant. Lack of early power cost me though. Need to have a good luck and get it running right as theres 14 fault codes coming from the EML Got a new loom to put on see if that sorts it. Hopefully next year it'll be cammed, ported, polished, raised rev limit, ARP bolts, lightened flywheel, 4 paddle clutch, semi slicks, roll cage and a couple of little bits. It should all hopefully give a better get away off the line and more power round the rev range.

Ye was pretty gutted with the problems with it but was still happy with the overall outcome as its encouraging. Was happy with how well it went against the astra mk3! Did you get any pics or videos of it mate?

On the same note did anyone get vids or pics of me on the strip on the saturday?

Think i've got one knocking around. Never fitted just taken out of the packet, might be missing the little metal clips.

28 pound is that linkage or bushes. I have a non modded linkage and the bit where it conects to the gear stick shaft is stright instead of bent. Could that sovle the problem if I swaped over that little bit lol. Sorry for cloging thread

yeah he said id have to wear a helmet to run again ... lucky i brought mine with me just incase

and yeah thats one prob nic .... also in 4th when up around 6500rpm you can feel the car holding back, boost level and afr gauge reads fine ... any ideas what it could be? boost hoses too small? cam timing?
the other excuse is the turbo wastegate valve doesnt sit flush closed ie making it laggier and more of a pain to drive/set off on the 1/4 .. things to do.

i know its got a 12 in it .. just getting it should be doing 115ish terminals if i can sort the 4th gear prob out too
