I already know the details, Stu Harris outlined that it will have Focus RS pace with Renault 250 Cup handling.

Yes, they need to work on attracting people that buy a car on the badge alone.

I've heard a few things this weekend from Stu Harris. Will be good I think.

But September 2011 earliest!

Brand loyalty for you I guess.

I'd much rather a 4wd system.
Even if it's a crap one.

your a brave man! mentioning 4wd/AWD on the interwebz these days seems to result in personal attacks.

Aliens didnt use it on the FRS so it must be a crap idea

I hope Vauxhall do fit a mechanical LSD, although in defence of the Mk6 Golf GTi I never noticed the electronic diff on that, but then it doesn't have enough power to warrant having a diff

Looks a bit too vague on the details. And just points out that Vauxhall are going to be about 3-4 years behind the rest of the competition. Who knows what Ford will have come up with in a year and a halfs time?

Yeah they've stopped making the RS now to my knowledge & there isnt to be another for the incoming model unless you believe whats printed in autoexpress. So its a few years late to go head to head with it!!

Yeah, even if it is better than the FRS, they've had lots more time to see where the FRS needed improving. I'm not doubting it might be a good car, I just think they're too late and should think about how to improve the market rather than make another car similar just with a different badge.
