what makes me laugh is, they makes you offer pay pal, so they can charge you for using it,
yet they're both the same company :@

I just dont see what the £8.71 is for if they charged me for listing and for money transfer

Final value fee.
Although they are cunts, the fees are well documented.

Cunts they are, probably worded so you miss the point of how much they charge you.

I sold my iphone on there the other day. From the £265 it sold for, ebay and paypal took £40 from me in fees!

Although the fees sound high. For what you are getting it's actually not bad. Try make a website. Drive millions of potential buyers to it every week and you will soon realise it's not actually that bad.
I do agree for 1 item now and again it's a fair chunk. But from a business point of view it's fairly reasonable.

any auction you go to tho chargs you fees, normally around 20% ebay is not that much but at the end of the day its still an auction so why should it be any different?

Should just be one upfront fee to auction/sell item, not fee to list and then another fee upon sale.

I sold some wheels on there for £500, eBay took £50, Paypal took £20. I was very unhappy.
