When saying engine codes I've heard a lot of people say C twenty let, for example, however I say C twenty L E T, as you wouldn't try and say XE or LEH as a word would you.
What's the general consensus?

Im unsure what your asking. All you've done is write the same word in capitals. So are you shouting it in one, and just saying it in the other?

Excuse how I've written it in the poll, I forgot to put the spaces in. Read the first post and it will explain.

Just let then. If they don't understand what that is, im not really going to go into detail with them as they would appear quite clueless.

I hadn't considered colloquialisms when I thought this up Ok then, if you had to say the engine code for whatever reason, what would you say?

Jr's Corsa isn't a LET
I opt for let, spelling it out seems pointless, I don't think I've ever had someone in the know not understand me when I've mentioned a let Corsa.
