That time of year again!
Mito (1.6 JTDm midspec), I'm 21, 4 years driving (Full UK + IAM), 3NCB, one accident at fault Aug 07, no convictions, 12k a year, mum and dad (both 'perfect' drivers) as named drivers - £500?
Sounds alright to me, confused keeps coming up with 1k+ quotes!?!
Seems okay to me...
Only other company I wanna try the IAM one... but thoughts?

Where are you getting £500, is it fully comp and what's the excess?

Sounds a fair quote, IAM Surety are worth a try though, really good in my experience of them so far and you might get driving other cars.

Royal and Suan Alliance through IAM surety, they matched the best quote I had, gave me a tenner off or something and I got driving other cars under 25.
They're really helpful when phone up to change plates etc and haven't charged me for it.

Thing is, looking online, this Admiral one is a very very good quote, I can't get anywhere near it!
What do you pay out of interest/

Just 'phoned them, he was very short and sweet on the phone but he's assuring me he can beat "any quote" but I need my renewal infront of me to confirm all the details!
Just need to find out if I'll get the drive any other car business!

That's the way it worked with me, just get a quote from the admiral site and phone up with the details.
You can either email screenshots or give them the login details for the quote.

No one beats elephant for me, every where else where £600+ dearer. Dont use compare sites as they dont get you and better deal unless your already being ripped off. Notice that the best/cheapest insurers are not part of the sites?

Elephant are a sister company of Admiral/Bell so I'm getting the best price there anyway

Try aviva (norwich union), they were about 7-800quid cheaper on my current Ibiza than anyone else!
Edit; I'm paying 1k fc with them on my pd130 Ibiza with brakes, suspension and exhaust declared, and I was 18 with 1ncb when I took the policy out

I'm paying about £450-500 with Virgin on the Punto. I'd expect the Alfa to be a bit more than the Punto as it's probably a bit more desirable and a bigger engine.

Aviva/NU were amazing when I claimed off them.
Offered me more than I actually thought the car was worth and had the payout check to me within 5 working days. Couldn't have gone any better!

Sounds decent. I'm paying around £400 on a 1.2 Punto with 8 yrs no claims, no accidents but 6 points.
