Car is going in for its MOT on Wednesday so me and my mate got stuck in today and done all the wee things that need done.

new pads and discs on the front, old ones where fucking shocking! i was actually embarrassed with them. all corroded and scored and the pads weren't much better no noise from them at all and where still stopping ok

replaced the snapped handbrake cable and adjusted the handbrake

full service, and gave the road some much needed oil

then washed it

just in there in time for the football and a chinese

Well done. I changed my brother's rear discs and pads on his Audi A3 today.
He then went off for the MOT and it passed

the rear discs had an inch of rust on them

my bro got an advisory the year before for rusty brakes. plus his pads were shot

best they were done for his safety and the MOT records
