I know Logitech do one but I'm guessing it's unnecessarily overprice in comparison with alternatives?

er you can get cheap ifra red dongles from ebay, they just stick in the usb drive, not the best looking but its not to obtrusive being black.
works fine i use it for my logitech harmony aswell.

I have the above, granted not cheap by any means but suspect you will be prepared to pay it if you have already paid for the harmony remote.....trouble is with most of the other 3rd party usb ones you cant power the ps3 up and down, not so bad if you playing on games as you can use the controller to power it up, but if your using blurays ideally dont want to have to grab the game controller.

Only option really apart from homemade solutions that add extra circuity to the ps3 bluetooth remote

Ordered the Logitech one in the end. Got it from eBuyer, for the sake £28.59, there weren't any decent alternatives.
