I noticed they hold the money, a quick scan on AT shows same age cars with 30-40k more miles at same price. Might go see it tomo as its 2 mins away, all depends on price to change!!

I love them, was seriously thinkin on getting one after the Evo but went for the VXR instead purely due to the fact it was newer with a load of extras and low mileage.

exactly the same performance wise as a focus st.

me and my work mate who both had st's at the time had a play with an rs down the a127, nothing in it for either of us.

the interior is really dated also, and the st responds better to tuning iirc.

you would really need to want one to get one.

i really like them, but just prefer the modern-ness of the st compared to the rs mk1.

Well, had a look on the way to work this morning, bits and bobs needed sorting, they offered me £5.5k and i was set to book a test drive. Then................at work i got chatting and was told there was an '06 VXR astra, blue, 19's, two brand new front tyres, 12 months T&T, 28,000, sold 3 moths ago but the guy couldn't get insured. Mine for £8.5k minus £5.5 for the ST. So, as of tuesday i'm joining the vxr gang!!
