How off can they be roughly?

A mate of mine has a tuned teg type r (they are 197bhp standard), had it rr'd today at ARTech Tuning and it only made 174bhp ..... his mates standard s2000 also only made 214bhp (they are 240bhp standard)... this can't be right surely!?

He said when his was mapped it made 235 on the rollers at ARTech and 251 at TDI North...

Surely I didn't think they were that much out?

Would have thought fly figures - isn't that what most manufacturers base their figures on?

The heat could cause them to not produce as much power in thery, but not by that much i doubt!

maybe its been done on wheels and therefore transmission loss? dunno though
